REAL ESTATE LAW

Experienced Northeast Ohio Real Estate Attorney
Bob Rosplock is experienced in both commercial and residential real estate matters and has the skill and knowledge to effectively represent your best interests. Purchasing or selling a home, or entering into a contract for the construction of a new home, is often the largest financial transaction an individual will undertake. It is important that you get the representation necessary in such matters. Standard forms that you attempt to fill out yourself probably will not alert you to all of the things you need to be aware of when entering into any of these kinds of transactions. Bob will work with you as needed throughout the process as required.

Our office also regularly represents commercial and residential landlords in the preparation and enforcement of commercial and residential leases.

If you decide to sell your house without the assistance of a real estate agent, there are various documents you will need to properly complete the sale. A detailed purchase agreement, along with other documents required by law, all need to be prepared and provided to the potential buyer.

If you are the buyer in a real estate transaction, you need to remember that the seller’s attorney is acting only for the seller, and is not concerned with protecting your rights as a buyer in the contract. It is therefore essential that you have the proposed purchase agreement reviewed by an attorney on your behalf before you sign it. While the contract may appear complete to you, unless you know exactly what you are looking for and understand the meaning of each and every legal term, you need to have the contract reviewed on your behalf.

If you are a new landlord, it is essential that you get proper assistance when preparing your first lease. An improperly worded lease often results in unintended consequences detrimental to the owner of the property. Our office has prepared hundreds of leases, and knows exactly what to include or look for when preparing or reviewing a lease agreement.
